About Visit São Paulo

Visit São Paulo , established as the January 25th Foundation , is a non-profit organization that seeks to expand business volume and the consumer market in the city through tourism, supporting improvements in services and visitor assistance.

With 40 years of history, it is the first Convention & Visitors Bureau in South America, currently bringing together more than 600 members representing various segments of the tourism sector in São Paulo and associated destinations.

These members support the Foundation through collaboration/payment of a monthly fee and, in the case of member hotels, also through the transfer of the optional room tax, which is a contribution paid by guests and reverted to the entity, a practice known and used internationally in hundreds of cities around the world.

Visit São Paulo works to attract, generate, and increase events, as well as carry out projects and training aimed at improving the quality of service provided to business and leisure visitors.
