For Norwegians, Christmas is synonymous with family time and traditions. We gather around the dinner table for our traditional Christmas meals, we eat our traditional 7 different Christmas cakes to our coffee, and we light the fire, a lot of candles, and snow lights. And most important – we have to make sure the Norwegian Santa (the “nisse”) is happy – so make sure to give him the Christmas porridge, so he takes care of your houses and animals. We have fun at the Christmas markets, and also have the worlds largest ginger bread town! Want to know more about Christmas time in Norway? Come see our VisitNorway Insights about Christmas.

virtual fam tour

Our regional destination companies are looking forward to welcome you digitally to their region, giving you a live taste of what they have to offer within the different themes. From the seminars and detailed introductions, we take to on a short visit to see and experience with your own eyes.

Due to the platform we use, there is a limited number of participants to each fam trip. But do not be afraid, if you are not the lucky one to be able to join us live – the fam trips will be recorded, and if you have registered interest, you will receive the recording afterwards to be able to join the trip when it suits you.
