Seychelles, the paradise located in the Indian Ocean, was one of the most awarded destinations in the 2022 World Travel Awards🇧🇷 Elected for the third consecutive time as the most romantic destination in the world, the archipelago made up of 115 islands is a refuge for all couples seeking tranquility and romance amidst the lush landscape, becoming a reference for romantic trips.

The award of the World Travel Awards recognizes excellence in all sectors of global tourism and the tourism industry. The award, now in its 29th edition, is one of the most recognized and comprehensive in the industry. Organized since 1993, the award is divided into ten world regions and, for each segment, there is popular online voting, and the vote of tourism professionals is worth two.

Exotic beaches and private hotels have given Seychelles other recognition in addition to being a more romantic destination: the famous resort North Island received the “World Leader in Luxury Private Island Resorts” award, the Constance Ephelia, in Mahé, received the award of ”Indian Ocean's Leading Green Resort”, while the JA Resorts, was distinguished as “World Leader in Private Island Resorts”. The archipelago also stood out with the award for “Best Destination for Honeymoon”.
