With giant postcards, the destination is the perfect setting for everyone who loves to record their vacation.
As if the paradisiacal beaches, historic cities and breathtaking nature weren't enough, Barbados now has new scenarios for tourists' photos and records: giant postcards. Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. (BTMI) revealed the locations where the postcards are located: Holetown; Bathsheba; Golden Square Park in Bridgetown; Sir Richard Haynes Boardwalk on the South Shore and Grantley Adams International Airport.
On the choice of locations for the new attractions, Senator Lisa Cummins commented: “The selected locations represent narratives of our rich history, heritage and shared memories for Barbadians. From Holetown, home to settlers in 1625, to Bridgetown, our capital, which reveals much of Barbados' developmental history over the last 300 years. We are inviting visitors to be part of these spaces and to engage with our history and our people.”
Tourists are invited to share their records on the island's different postcards on social networks and show the different possibilities that the destination offers.
“Barbados is the perfect holiday destination, and we are creating activities that promote the visit to the island to experience the wealth of activities we have to offer. unforgettable vacation, there is a lot to enjoy in Barbados”, added the senator and also Minister of Tourism and International Transport.
