Earlier this year, the newest Waldorf Astoria resort opened on Platte Island, an island 130km from Mahé. This virtually untouched paradise features 50 exclusive villas designed to provide maximum privacy and comfort. Each villa features a spacious patio, plunge pool, stunning views and direct beach access.
Yoga and cooking classes, tennis matches, scuba diving, kayaking and stargazing guarantee guests unique moments of leisure. And when it comes to the spa, in addition to classic treatments, they also offer a wellness screening, which analyzes more than 30 important physiological biomarkers of health.
Another highlight of the resort is its concern for the environment. To avoid harming turtle reproduction, the villas are located away from the coast. In addition, some of the ingredients used in the resort's six restaurants are produced locally, ensuring not only an exceptional gastronomic experience, but also more nutritious and sustainable food.

Scheduled to open on December 1, Cheval Blanc Seychelles will be one of the newest members of LVMH’s (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton) renowned luxury hotel collection. Located on Anse Intendance beach, amidst the lush vegetation of Mahé Island, the hotel will feature 52 spacious villas, starting at 220m2 designed by architect Jean-Michel Gathy, all with private pools.
For guests’ convenience, there will be a dedicated children’s area, a gym, and 5 restaurants serving everything from French and Asian haute cuisine to delicious Mediterranean cuisine. The spa will provide moments of serenity, relaxation and self-care with Guerlain products.
The hotel also promises to offer a highly personalized service, organizing unique experiences such as sailing trips, picnics in isolated places, as well as promoting encounters with giant turtles.
And the news doesn't stop there. The year 2025 promises the reopening of Avani+ Barbarons Seychelles and Fregate Island Oetker Collection.
