He has worked for companies such as Nestlé and began his career in tourism at CVC, having worked in the marketing, communication and sustainability and national products departments. Leandro also has international experience, working at the Angolan Ministry of Tourism, as well as representing Embratur and the Secretariat of Tourism of Bahia, Mato Grosso do Sul and Pará in the United States and Canada, based in Chicago and New York. He is currently Manager of Global Partnerships and Annual Convention Sponsors at IGLTA, the world's largest LGBTQ+ travel association, where he collaborates with industry-leading companies to make the travel industry more diverse and inclusive.
